SSC CGL conducted by Staff Selection Commission is one of the prominent public sector examinations of all times. Every year thousands of vacancies are filled by SSC exams for various government departments. Staff Selection Commission is a dominant government organization that provides recruitment to millions of students across India.
The Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level exam every year for recruitment of non technical Group B & Group C in various govt departments across India. The SSC CGL 2018 Exam is conducted to recruit for various services like,

SSC CGL Notification 2018:
Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL Notification on their official website ssc.nic.in by the end of this month. SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is expected to be conducted from June 25th to August 8th, 2018, Tier 2 exam from November 27th to 3oth as per the SSC Exam Calendar released officially.

SSC CGL vacancies 2018:

SSC CGL Admit Card:
SSC CGL Admit cards are mandatory for the entry of candidates into the examination hall. The candidate who comes without admit cards will be entertained inside the exam hall. The SSC CGL 2018 admit card will contain all the necessary information a student bears.
SSC CGL Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on annual basis conducts the CGL (Combined Graduation Level Exam) in two phases i.e. Tier I and Tier II. But, this year onwards it is conducting the exam is three phases i.e. Tier III which is an independent descriptive test. So, we suggest all the aspirants to prepare well for the exam as per the exam pattern. When the candidates will be able to qualify in the Second CGL Tier-II Examination. Given below are the four sections asked in the exam:
- English Language
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- General Awareness
- Quantitative Aptitude

SSC CGL Syllabus and Pattern

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria
The SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria is as follows:
Education: Candidate must hold a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university.
Age Limit – Previously, the candidate’s age was supposed to be in between the margin of 18 to 27 years old for this examination. From onwards, the upper age limit has been raised to 30 years.
SSC CGL Selection Procedure
The entire process of selection in SSC CGL comprises of four stages. The candidates need to perform well in all stages and they will be shortlisted by the basis of their performance in all three tiers. SSC CGL Examination will be conducted in four tiers as given:
- Tier -I: Online Written Examination (Multiple CBT Test)
- Tier -II: Online Written Examination (Multiple Choice- Computer Based Test)
- Tier -III: Descriptive Mode
- Tier -IV: Data Entry Skill Test/ Computer Proficiency Test and Document Verification
SSC CGL Salary :
The salary and associated perks are the major factor to drive hundreds of students to attempt this exam every year. The salary in case of SSC CGL ranges up to 51, 961.
SSC CGL Results :
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the results in different stages after completion of each Tier Exam. The candidates selected in the rounds progress to the next one. Candidates can check the result from the direct link to official SSC CGL website as and when the results are announced.
